Just a short update for those who want to know. It looks like the economy has hurt a lot of places. The University of Utah dropped the program Kyle applied for, so we won't be heading out there. It would have been nice with his sister out there and all. We got a little unlucky due to some circumstances with Appalachian state University so we are on the waiting list there.
Our last hope is Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. I think what our plan is no matter what now, is to move down there, get an apartment, and find jobs. If he gets in, then just I will need to find a job. Either way, we are heading south! If he doesn't get in then we will have two incomes to save up with for when he is in school and he will be able to make contacts and get a few more things on his resume. If he does get in then Woohoo! All I will have to worry about then is taking care of the shelter, food, and water bit.
We are hoping to head down to Texas right after graduation from Northwestern. We will go down there during the week and head back in time for our friends Ted and Melinda, they are getting married!
